About MBS Concepts
MBS Director/Founder - James Wallace
Mind Body and Soul Concepts (MBS) was founded by James D.
Wallace in 2001 in response to a wide range of societal issues and
concerns affecting communities, schools and families. MBS
reaches out in an effort to address these issues in a cost
effective, efficient and unique way. We strongly believe that in
order for us to make healthy decisions and maximize our own
potential growth as well as assist in the growth of others we must
have a balance of the mind, the body, and the
soul.
After working with adolescents, teens and their families in both
a school and community setting, MBS has expanded its services to
include health and fitness workshops, youth development and
leadership classes, mentor trainings, parent workshops and staff
development trainings in the areas of conflict resolution and
classroom management. MBS currently provides before, during
and after-school programming for at risk youth through its
Mentoring Through Actions program.
The motto of MBS and all of its services and programs is simple,
“Don’t Talk About It, Be About It.” MBS truly
believes in being an agent of change and not just talking about
it.
